Founded in 2025 by James L. Edwards II and his wife Taylor, Edwards Everyday Solutions was built on a foundation of faith, family, and a lifelong dedication to hard work and service.
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, James learned early the value of determination and integrity. His father, James L. Edwards Sr., devoted nearly 40 years to the automotive industry, setting an example of unwavering work ethic. Growing up as the youngest of six siblings—with five older sisters—James also developed a natural sense of respect, patience, and care for others, qualities that would later define his approach to customer service.
With over 12 years of experience in the moving and delivery industry, James has worked with respected companies such as Art Van, Gardner White, Arhaus, and Restoration Hardware. His extensive background has taken him everywhere—from cozy studio apartments to sprawling estates owned by athletes, celebrities, and business leaders. Regardless of who the client is, James approaches every move with the same professionalism, energy, and commitment to excellence. His goal is simple: to ensure every customer ends their moving experience with a smile.
Together, James and Taylor combined their shared Christian faith, compassion for people, and strong sense of purpose to launch Edwards Everyday Solutions —a company that reflects their belief in serving others with honesty, humility, and heart. Whether moving across town or across the state, clients can count on personalized service, reliable expertise, and a genuine care that goes beyond the job itself.

I’m Taylor Edwards, and at Edwards Everyday Solutions, I’m proud to lead alongside my husband, James, bringing my experience, education, and passion for service to everything we do. As co-owner and the driving force behind our brand and operations, I focus on creating a business that reflects professionalism, compassion, and integrity.
Raised in Detroit, I earned my Marketing degree from Ferris State University and have spent over 10 years building a strong foundation in customer service, including experience in Hospitality Management and Retail Leadership at AT&T. These experiences taught me the importance of clear communication, attention to detail, and genuinely caring for the people you serve — values that are at the heart of Edwards Everyday Solutions.
While James oversees much of the hands-on moving and hauling side of the business, I manage the organizational, customer relations, and growth aspects — ensuring every client has a smooth, professional, and positive experience from start to finish. Whether it’s helping families move into a new home or assisting businesses with logistics and hauling, my team and I are committed to delivering practical solutions with a personal touch.
Faith is central to everything I do, guiding my work ethic, leadership, and interactions with customers and team members.
